Journey while in my last trimester of pregnancy

What’s up guys! Thanks for going on this journey with me. If this is your first time, you can catch up with my fist and second week (here & here). Its been real so far with the littles and the bigs ( The girls) being at home full time. We are going through so much food and of course a thousand pounds of snack food.

Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase.  And is what I’ve been using to cure our thousand pounds of snack food.

I started on this journey to really get some foundation on the type of snack food I was putting in my body while pregnant. Snacking seems to be how I get my nutrition for the day. I had to make some serious choices. I was initially feeling really bad about eating the majority of my meals late evening or night.

Not because I wanted to but, because its when I had time to think about myself and not be feeding my two or five year old. Always Eat After 7 pm let me know that I can take in quality food late-night and not feel like I’m neglecting my body as a whole.

Lets get into the snacking changes I’ve made:

I’ve been having a great time with my late night protein bowls.

I’ve started following the snacking list.

Pro Tip: When you purchase this book you get FULL recipes plus a snack list that can help you along the way. What I mean by help is letting you know what to eat and why. We are no longer just eating blindly, we have a detailed step by step on what will stratify each of our late-night cravings.

I want you to watch this video behind the science of Joel The authors phases to eating better and later.

What do you think of that? I would love to hear from you in my private FB group. You can join here. You can get learn more and get your copy of the book at www.joelmarion.com. I can’t wait to talk to you about it

Oh, This Tip from the book made me feel alot better about going to bed on a full belly.

“A research paper published in Sports Medicine in 2014 showed that people who eat the majority of their carbs at dinner actually sleep better. Carb-induced, quality sleep decreases cortisol (a fat-storing hormone) and ramps up the production of your sleep hormones, serotonin and melatonin. Restorative sleep increases fat-burning hormones—the main one being growth hormone—overnight.”

Yep, you read that right. The I-TIS after eating is real and sometimes better for a deeper and longer sleep time.

We are getting into our fourth week of recipes and snacks, next week will be my last week posting on the blog. But the conversation does not end there. The phases that Joel, has laid out for us in Always Eat After 7 pm” are not just for a couple of weeks its a lifestyle change that happens over a span of time. You can take it as fast or as slow as you would like.

I will be posting my final thoughts and some pro tips that I’ve learned next week, so make sure you check back in. Also, leave me a note when you purchase your book. Id love to chat with you about it.
